WHEN? Each Sunday at 5pm we hold a contemporary church service.
WHERE? The auditorium at St. Stephens, Mittagong.
WHAT? In our service, we have singing, prayer, bible readings and a talk from the Bible, and often something else - a drama, video or activity based on the topic. Lord's Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.
HOW LONG? We usually go for a bit over an hour.
MUSIC? The songs we sing in praise to God are presented by our live band, including guitars, bass, piano, drums, cello and violin. The songs are contemporary christian music, often from artists such as City Alight, Matt Redman, EMU Music, Sovereign Grace, Keith & Kristyn Getty and Citizens&Saints. You can check out a Spotify playlist of the songs we sing here.
MONEY? You don't have to pay to come, or anything like that. (A collection is taken up for those who are willing to donate to the work of the church)
FOOD? We encourage people to stay for supper after this service, so please stay around.
On the first Sunday of each month, we share a meal together after the service.
WHO? Many of our church's young adults and youth attend this service, but we also have young families and people of all ages attending - whatever your age, you are welcome to join us!
A SundayKids program for children in primary school is held during the sermon, and a cry room is available. This room is designed for parents to take their babies to, when they are making a noise that is disturbing others in the church service. It is located in the partioned area of the foyer.
